The barrel has a faint inscription saying Gooptu's Perfection , Made In Calcutta, Favourite SR No 4. The nib is a 14 Ct gold nib and says Gooptu's Perfection 14 Ct 1st Quality Osmi Iridium. An Eye Dropper filler pen. The pen is ebonite with a mother of pearl finish and writes perfectly. The "No. 4" is not distinct but my guess based on the Jr. No 4 Pen which is very similar (but has differences such as the cap in the Jr is a duofold type cap which is not so in this pen)
